Special Conditions for Employment of Children
It is government legislation that a child can not work without a child employment permit.
There are laws in Victoria regarding the employment of children under the age of 15 years, specifically the child employment act 2003. Please refer to the website: http://www.irv.vic.gov.au/ or telephone IRV 1800 287 287 to comply with your responsibility as the employer or as a parent of children in the entertainment industry. Tinlids Model Agency acts solely as Agent for and on behalf of the talent. Accordingly the Tax Department and relevant government authorities, treat the booking contract as a contract of employment or services between the client who books the talent and the child.

| Drama/Radio/Voice Over | Actors Equity rates apply (no half rates) |
| Cancellations/Holds | 24 hours notice or full hourly rate charged |
| Weather check postponements | First – no fee, Second – half fee, third full - fee . When a child is cancelled and not re-booked the full fee will be charged. |
| Parades/Showings | Negotiated at time of booking |
| Usage | Usage of Stills ie Posters, billboards, display cards, packaging and all point of sale carry negotiable loadings |
| Travelling Time | Full hourly rate will be charged for travel outside a radius of 15kms from Melbourne GPO |
| Agency Fee | An agency fee of 10% is charged on all invoices and this will incur GST |

VICTORIAN CHILDREN'S AGENTS' ASSOCIATION
About the V.C.A.A
In September 1985, the major Children's modeling and theatrical agencies in Melbourne formed the Victorian Children's Agents' Association, Inc. The V.C.A.A. was established for the broad purposes of providing a forum for discussion and resolution of problems common to the junior sector of the industry, to promote the welfare of children involved, to maintain high professional and ethical standards, to represent the interests of agencies and children in legislative, regulatory and Welfare Department matters and to maintain reasonable standards of pay and conditions.
V.C.A.A. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
- To foster a professional bond between the children's agents and to provide a forum for discussion on matters of common interest and concern to the industry.
- To promote and foster the welfare of children in the industry.
- To maintain high professional and ethical standards in the industry.
- To represent the interests of both agents and children, as appropriate in legislative, legal, regulatory and welfare matters.
- To recommend the maintenance of reasonable and equitable standards of pay and conditions in the industry.
- To do all such other things as are incidental to the attainment of the above objectives.
Incorporation
The Victorian Children's Agents' Association was incorporated in Melbourne, Victoria in September 1985. Registration No. A0005829H
